Not cut to size but ok

I swore when I read about this provider that they said order the pad for the size rug you are ordering because we will send you the pad a couple inches less on all sides - so I paid more and I got the thicker pad which the 1/2 is great for comfort. But it didn't come sized less than the rug size and now i have to cut the pad on both edges. Maybe I got this wrong as I was looking at a lot of rug pad otions and maybe too late at night - just a bit annoyed to pay a good deal and have to do so much work to cut it and now the cut is uneven since it's manual.

Not ideal for thick pile or shag rugs
