The Fitbit Versa is a piece of junk. I have sufficient evidence for this blunt statement, which I will make here. I bought my Versa in early 2018. In autumn 2018 it was left to decay. I have tried the fixes provided on their website and over the phone to no avail. Fitbit replaced it under warranty. However, the replacement that was sent to me also turned out to be non-functional and did not respond to the same suggested fixes. Fitbit sent me another watch. This one worked. However, they sent me a dial without a strap. Of course I had the original straps but it turned out to be extremely difficult to fit them to the watch. After numerous attempts by my spouse and I, I called Fitbit and asked if they could send me one with the wristbands installed. The rep just told me they couldn't do it. Since I bought it online my only option was to go to the retailer I didn't buy it from (Costco) and ask for help. To their credit, they installed bracelets for me (it wasn't easy for them either). So I'm now using my third Versa, which I've had for a few months, and the battery is draining rapidly with green lines obscuring the dial. I suppose I could go through the warranty exchange process again (including finding a creative way to tighten the straps, but I have no appetite for that. I've written off two hundred dollars I spent on the experience and my only satisfaction is to give others Advise potential consumers not to repeat my bad experience.
