I work among rocks, cacti and cedars in the Texas Hill Country. I quickly destroy shoes, boots and clothes, because here people either stab or scratch or bite. I have decided to replace my previously damaged boots with these Skechers. So far, so good. The sides are not torn, the sole is not chipped. I'm impressed so far. I wear medium size 13 boots. They fit well and are comfortable to wear. I like them and will probably buy another pair if they continue to hold up well.
