These are not expensive reamers and will work well as is. The cutting edges of the ones I received were not fully finished (to my satisfaction but met my expectations for the price) so the final finish of the cut was a bit rough until I properly sanded the edges on the end reamer. Warning: If you don't know how to properly stone a reamer, do not attempt this as you will most likely ruin the reamer. I used them to make a collet holder that I mount on my lathe with 1080 carbon steel for fine detail work.
