Review on 🦉 Optimal Nighttime Bird Cage Cover by Jerry Crist

This cover is easier than opening and closing a piano cover. I hate adjusting the piano dust cover and it's awkward to store. On the other hand, this cage cover is easy to put on and take off and fits up to the letter T on the Hendryx F050 cage. There are two wide finger holes on the top of the cover. I place loopholes at the top of the cage, line up the front flap, and it's easy to access from there. I've been practicing putting it on and taking it off so as not to scare the bird that arrives tomorrow. When I take it off, I grab the loops and lift it up, then gently pull it toward me. He slips away with such a sound I don't think the bird will be scared. During the day I hang it on a plastic hook above the door. It only takes about 2-3 attempts to pet it. You will be glad you bought this item! The material is thin so it probably doesn't give off much unwanted heat, but it's thick enough to keep drafts out. Look inside with the lid closed and you'll see that it's almost completely dark. There is just one note: about four Velcro straps could be used on each side of the flap to prevent the flap from letting light in. I highly recommend this case.
