Extremely easy when it comes to general purpose gauges
I have been using this gauge model for 18 years and bought it for my grandson to help him troubleshoot. I think the only thing that ever broke this meter was leaving it on the roof in heavy rain. Otherwise it is a rigid meter with automatic range and polarity detection at DC. The amp plug is much easier to use than the clamp and with the locking button, all you have to do is test, press the button, then remove the meter and count. The audio is strong when checking for continuity and that's it.
