Used incomnjunction with a Sony 4K HDR TV, HDMI (Arc)comnnection, listener-to-audio distance 2 meters. I wanted to watch my favorite films with the new system, but in the end I don’t want to do it with such sound at all. Forcomparison, Icomnnected Dialog W-3000computer speakers for 2500 through 3.5 in parallel to the TV andcompared switching the sound back and forth. Through the speakers there is a stereo panorama and it is much wider, and the sound is more pleasant, thanks to the presence of high frequencies, while subwoofers arecomparable in quality. The price of 20,000 for this soundbar is not justified by anything. Observations and advice: To turn on the Multichannel mode for the surround effect (which I already wrote about above), you need to apply AC3 5.1 to the speaker (I remind you that the soundbar does not support DTS and Dolby Atmos, only Dolby Digital (AC3, 6 ch) and LPCM (2 ch) ). Faced with the fact that VLC, MX and other players from the Play Store cannot pass 5.1 to the soundbar even when pass-through is enabled in the settings (judging by the information on the Internet due to Android TV features in Sony). The only working options I found are: 1) Use the built-in media player (but it does not support many formats, for example, movies with DTS will be without sound), 2) Use Kodi, enabling EAC3 and DTS to AC3 transcoding. Stopped at this option. Movies from 5.1 on Google Play Movies and KinoPoisk HD play successfully with Multichannel. Haven't tested other services. Probably the most serious and truthful review of this soundbar is posted on RTings.Com (). It is a pity that I did not find it before the acquisition, but relied on a brand that had not failed before, as well as reviews on. Market and YouTubers.
