Our friend/mechanic accidentally got greased. Oil. Foot on my light beige CLOTH door in my SUV. There were no other stains on it, and it was a perfectionist's nightmare. I was afraid to endure and was looking for something to try. Then I tried to ignore it because I was too scared to try anything. That went on for a month and a half. The whole time. The stain was hard and dried and seemed to be an everlasting problem. I saw a video about this Scotchgard on another site. Didn't buy it but thought it was ok. The worst that can happen is that I rub it in and smudge it. And I'll be stuck with a big stain. I took a deep breath and decided to try it CAREFULLY. Dampen the stain. Not enough to drip onto the door panels but got them wet. Then I walked away for ten minutes. I came back with gloves and a dish brush which cooked with a bang. I had the store towels and I was ready to go. I literally lightly brushed the stain, then got scared and used a store napkin. Buy this NOW if you have any stains. I will invest in it for the rest of my life and nooo. I'm not getting paid NOT to say ANYTHING about it. I barely rubbed this towel and it only took 3 or 4 minutes and that stain was GONE. I repeated the process to make sure it was gone because of the wet beige. It's hard to be sure. This second application was completely unnecessary. I let everything dry and my husband and I stood and looked at this place. Try to find a place. And then party like idiots in the parking lot of the house. Just so you understand how important it was. We only received the SUV a month ago. Yes. Second hand. But hardly and this Scotchgard keeps it fresh!
