I used this tool to remove 2 stuck screws on an old Singer 128 sewing machine. It was able to gently loosen the stuck screws with a hard hammer hit. One thing you need to make sure you use the right size impact wrench, otherwise you will damage the slot of the screw head. There was only one small slotted bit in the kit so I had to use one from a different set of screwdriver bits. This impact wrench can be used to remove both left-hand and right-hand thread screws. You adjust the direction by pressing the bit holder's shaft and turning it left or right. Be sure to check the direction of rotation of the bit holder shank after each hit on the screwdriver. Hitting it with a hammer can accidentally knock the bit holder shank off and turn it the other way. This allows you to tighten the screw. The tool looks pretty strong and durable. The metal has survived several hammer blows without noticeable damage. This instrument is made in Taiwan.
