Review on 🔧 OEM N311419 Angle Grinder Guard Replacement for Black & Decker DCG414 DWE402 by Chris Reeves

I wasn't sure if it would fit the latest DWE402 "Type 3" because it only fit the previous Type 2 and it's on the DeWalt Site snippets did not display any gave guards. Instead I looked at the picture and it turned out that the 8 square hole, 4 lug/lug mount is identical to the Type 27 guard on my grinder. The guard fitted my DWE402 type 3 grinder perfectly and worked with the grinder's one touch function. The protective case was well bubble wrapped and it says 'Oem Black & Decker' instead of 'DeWalt' so it can't be a real manufacturer. Inside the shield was a thin hanging wire, which it was probably hung from while it was being painted. The wire came off easily but left an unpainted strip inside; not critical, since the inside is scratched during operation. The device consists of two halves that are induction spot welded in about 7 places. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
