Attention, hit or miss!

Be careful, I have two such devices Tested and could only get 1 out of 3 types of handheld radios to work. Depending on the type of HT you want to use, the chances of this thing working are therefore random because even if you get the device to detect a signal on the Rx side, the device may in some/the most cases PPT does not run on the Tx side. Also, all Surecom repeater controllers are pure audio devices with no RF input or output, and therefore the term "crossband" is not relevant to these devices. Star is terrible customer support that seems limited to email contacts on the Surecom website. I've tried asking them the same simple question five times, and I'm pretty sure they don't understand a thing about repeaters, radios, or even the basic workings of electronic circuits. Apparently they only know what they themselves read on the Surecom website, which is nothing more than lines of gibberish that apparently came out due to a bad Chinese-English translation algorithm.

Pros
  • With the help of equipment and so on, we assemble the assembly, the new generation backbone board, the internal structure is better, the appearance is more attractive. In addition, it can provide a basic repeater function, following the receiver's transmitter, besides, it has easy connection, provides a more ideal wireless range for you, and lets you communicate in a larger working area
Cons
  • High price
