*LONG DETAIL VIEW* This little box is great value for money. I bought it after my Jeep (along with several other cars in my area) was broken into. I knew my doors were locked and the police confirmed that the thief used an electronic device that copies the signal from your key fob to open the doors. I bought this faraday box the next day and received it within 24 hours. I tested this by dropping the key fobs into the box on my second car, leaving the box open and seeing if the doors would open when I touched the handle. And they opened up. After I closed the box and clasp, the doors no longer opened when the handle was touched. I also put my cell phone in the box after asking someone to call me within 30 seconds. The phone didn't ring. I waited about 2 minutes and took out my phone. A few seconds later I received a message that the phone had switched to voicemail when she called. So it definitely works. Just make sure the box is fully locked! If this is not the case, the signals will still pass and the box will not work.
