Review on ACDelco 45H2165 Professional Rear Spring by Bryan Covington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what was needed

I replaced the rear shocks (which were removed) and replaced them with maximum control shocks (all 4) before I knew that my Tahoe 04 had the ZW7 package hanger. Although the ride was better than the shot bumps, the rear wheel had poor hop and my ride wasn't always smooth. After reading about the ZW7 suspensions, I found that if I wanted to use non-Nivomat shocks ($400+ shocks; the cheapest I found was $250 new, so was that I'd have to replace the rear springs). it a no). The difference in driving is incredible. Negotiating speed bumps and bumpy roads is now comfortable, and overall the ride is smooth; feels much stronger and more stable. They are ideal for your needs in non-heavy conditions. Those ending in "64” are for heavy-duty applications.
