I don't think they fit the Z71 Avalanche

The springs are probably ok but they don't fit the 2002 Chevy Avalanche 4x4 in any way. I lost ground clearance wearing them. The clearance under the fenders is now 1/8 inch. I considered adding 1.5" standoffs but would rather bring the height back. There will be a replacement as soon as possible.

  • Shocks, struts and suspension

08 Escalade ERUs. A little tighter. air traffic away.

Raised car rear 1 inch. A little harder. 200k escalade eu. I think they are great. Drives a little rougher. The case is durable. I removed the shock absorbers and tires. Raised the frame, lowered the back with another jack. Did one side at a time. I also just installed: 2 Bilstein 24-186834. So the back of this big beast is solid and well padded. Incidentally, the rear ride height is about 0.5 inches higher after a few weeks of getting used to, because of the new springs.

Pros
  • Spare Parts
Cons
  • Good but not great

Although the ride was better than the shot bumps, the rear wheel had poor hop and my ride wasn't always smooth. After reading about the ZW7 suspensions, I found that if I wanted to use non-Nivomat shocks ($400+ shocks; the cheapest I found was $250 new, so was that I'd have to replace the rear springs). it a no). The difference in…
