I really like HP business monitors as they calibrate displays for color accuracy and have amazing monitor stands (up/down support, tilt, swivel). I really wanted to love this monitor but since I use a Macbook Pro computer (2016 and 2019) Mac doesn't want 2 of these monitors for some reason. The cable didn't work at all. Yes, this Macbook Pro can support multiple monitors - I had 2 LG USB-C monitors running at the same time. Only one from HP works - I've tried all the no signal troubleshooting tips on the internet to no avail. I used a DisplayPort to USBC cable and they both worked at the same time (one with USBC and one with DP to USBC), but the problems didn't end there. I usually leave the monitors on and let the computer put them to sleep and they did, but sometimes both monitors wouldn't wake up. With that in mind, I tried these monitors on a Windows Lenovo laptop with 2 USBC ports and they worked flawlessly. So the above issue seems to be related to Mac laptops (I tried a 2016 15" MPB and a 2019 15" MBP). Note: The HDMI port (with HDMI-USBC) looked amazing on OSes that support HDR. I had to go into the display settings on the Mac and switch to a different color profile, but the colors just popped up.
