Too short for a bowl

I bought this because it's 4.5 or 4.72 inches tall. However, this measurement refers to the outside of the handle. The interior height is closer to 4 inches. And the area under the handle is 3.5 inches. So not suitable for large bowls that I wanted it for. The lid rests on the edge of the bowl and the handle area is in the food. I'd like to find a *tall* microwave lid. I'll leave that for the plates, otherwise it looks nice.
