I love this thing no doubt, when in doubt just take it and thank me later. I wear a lot of wigs and usually my hair is in a protective braid under the wig and when I take it off I want to be as gentle as possible to avoid breaking it while it has grown under the wig. I put it on top of my braids and give it about 10 minutes to set and very gently I unravel my braids and they slip out like I braided my hair a day ago when it was loose for a month. The cooling effect of peppermint is not overpowering and it washes out very easily, I previously used coconut oil or shea butter and when I was done I had to wash my hair 2 or 3 times with a clarifying shampoo to cleanse my hair. Make sure the extra oil doesn't stain my hair. I use it to wash my hair like any other time and all the product comes out after one wash with normal shampoo and my hair doesn't break. 11/10 you should get it.
