Review on ๐ŸŒˆ Vibrant Rainbow Colors: Discover the TradeGear Electrical ASSORTED Assortment by Paul Dobson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bought to mark cables. I will continue to use 3M tape for electrical work.

Pro: The variety of colors and the luminosity of the colors are very nice. Cons: The adhesive is VERY patchy between the rollers. The best sticks very well, as you would expect from a quality tape (like 3M). The worst of them is as bad as maybe a dollop of honey. Hardly anything sticks. And the relative stickiness of others lands somewhere in between. It also doesn't stretch like 3M tape and doesn't bounce well. (I don't know if you all agree, but I consider this the gold standard.) So if you use a roll of good glue, you may not be able to get good strong wrapping with it. more cosmetic than anything else, but when stretched, the color of the tape will lighten. I love this tape for marking Ethernet and power cables, although I usually use a zip tie to secure any tape used for this purpose as even the best tape can get tangled. over time (in addition, this leads to more color combinations when using colored screeds).

Pros
  • 600V, MAX. TEMPERATURE 80 DEGREES: TradeGear Fire Retardant PVC Electrical Tape is rated for a maximum working voltage of 600V and a working temperature of 80ยฐC (176ยฐF). It works well in most domestic and industrial areas, making it perfectly safe for all uses.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
