I don't know how my mom bought one of these when I was younger but now that I have my own cat and need to keep her away from things I remembered that it was very good works well and it hasn't let me down. I had trouble keeping my cat off the counter, had to move and adjust her as she tested where she could and couldn't jump on the counter, but I eventually got her off the kitchen table. Of course I had to shoot a video to make sure everything worked. After some perseverance by my cat and I to adjust where I placed the alarm clock on the counter, the cat is now free.
