Shovel doesn't fit kitchen utensils and gadgets

I bought this because the video shows the scoop fits neatly into the holder on the side of the bucket. As you can see from the photo, the shovel is slightly larger than the holder. I've tried it the way it's shown in the video and I've tried it a number of ways that just don't fit. It's annoying because I spent $25 on it just because it looked comfortable to use.
