Excellent purchase! in Electric

This kit did exactly what was advertised. Stepper motors, LEDs, soldering irons work very well (allow oils and other substances to burn out on the iron for about 5 minutes). It's easy to do, better than sending $$$ to rebuild. The incandescent lamp generates a lot of heat, which starts to destroy the resistors, and then you start losing the functions of the device. They have a great video on youtube to instruct those who are not so comfortable. I give all 5 stars, also for the easy installation. BUT. I had to change the installation of the LEDs as they were not in the factory cube. But all well and good, just completely remove the old light bulbs step by step. Then add solder to the connection points as needed. Plug it back into the car and use one of the LEDs as a test. Bend the long wire slightly, leaving about 3/8 inch space between the wires. Touch the wires at the "extra soldered" points, if it doesn't light up, rotate it 180 degrees and try again. It will light up in one of two ways. After ignition, mark the long wire on the circuit board with a marker, bend the wires to the side and cut them. Remember to cut the long wire last so you don't have to re-solder. For those who gave an unfavorable rating based on the brightness, a) you were still using blocks, the old lights were on and closer to the surface, or b) you have problems with the wiring harness to the instrument cluster, as I've found that I have a little. Now that I've said all that we'll see if it holds up, but I'm pretty sure it will!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
