Unit about the size of a thin hockey puck - 1/4 inch thick. Requires 4 watch batteries (included). Attached to the device and external sensor with double-sided foam tape. The sensitivity of the sensor is good as it is triggered instantly by touching 2 contacts with a wet paper towel. Please note that the length of the cable between the sensor and the main unit is about 30 cm (12 inches). Also, the test button for batteries. That's not alarming. Considering its limitations, this should work fine for a $7 sensor.
