I would not buy this product. I bought crossbars to be able to attach kayak holders to the car. I did a kayaking tour in Colorado and had no problems during the 12 hour trip there. The return trip was a different story. The cross member broke and my kayak went off the roof of my car at 130 km/h. I was very lucky that no one was behind me when this defective product broke because someone could have been seriously injured or killed. Would not recommend this product.
