Before I bought this helmet, I tried to wear my husband's helmet and it was too uncomfortable because my thick hair covered my neck. I refused to wear it. I stumbled across this Bell helmet and read the reviews that it had room for a ponytail and decided it was worth a try. I am very happy with this helmet! It keeps my hair off the back of my neck. I usually wear my hair higher but it's way better than before. I can't comment on the warping issue that others have had. I leave the helmet in after a ride.
