I used these flashlights on a camping trip once and they looked great. I used magnets to attach the strip to my van and loved that I could turn it on and off with the remote. After camping, I put them back on the included plastic spool and put them in the included pouch. I just took them out and plugged them back in a few weeks later and only half the cord glows. If I choose white light, half the lights are white and the other half are pink. Damn. Yes they are inexpensive but I should be able to use them more than once. And of course the returns window is now closed. :(
