This phone holder is much better than my previous one. It has all the settings you want and multiple mounting options - dashboard, windshield, air vent. I prefer the dash mount because I also use Garmin GPS and the two devices fight for it while driving. I can then choose whatever route I think is best at the moment (I love using Waze on my iPhone). With my iPhone on the dashboard, I can position it so that I can see both devices at the same time with a quick glance. I don't like the ventilation option because you have to look down and away from the road. The only issue I have with the adjustment is that you can't easily rock the device left and right. So when you install it you need to make sure you place it at the optimal diagonal angle - otherwise you'll have to remove the sticky pad from the dashboard and reposition it - not easy. All other adjustments are great and the phone remains stable no matter where it is placed. I like how the phone snaps into place and is held securely when you slide the phone into the holder. And it's a quick release when you press two tabs on each side, setting it up for the next time you want to tuck in your phone. All in all a very good mount that allows me to place my phone where I want.
