Years ago I realized that elevator bearings are an item where OEM does NOT always mean better! My Crown Vic's hood recently needed help staying open in cooler weather. This is a sign of failure of the lift legs before they are completely out of service. These supports fit perfectly, had great (but not too much) buoyancy support and took less than 5 minutes to replace/install the original. Great value for money, would buy again if needed!
