I was looking for an SSD enclosure which I bought as a second drive for my MacBook Pro. Especially one with USB-C. This case is pretty simple and it was easy to install a drive in it. It delivers speeds close to advertised but slightly slower when using the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test. I'm giving it four stars because I put it in my bag every night (with a second bag and battery) and it's now covered in a few noticeable surface scratches. Nothing affects the quality of the disc, but optically it only looks worn after a month of use. I tried to show it in the pictures above. Surface issues aside, this was a lifesaver for use as a second boot drive. It's thin, light, has a white access indicator and a fun orange rubber tab on the other end. If he lived on the table, I'm sure it would be fine!
