    The outer shell is a bit thin.

    Have been using Ugreen products, cases, USB cables, chargers, USB hubs, adapters for many years. etc. and most of the time they work great so I keep buying them. This SSD enclosure also performs extremely well in terms of features, speed, operating temperature, etc., but I only found the outer plastic case to be a little flimsy.     It works, but there are better options

    The case is very difficult to open, you're always afraid of damaging it. So if you need to replace hard drives, remove the cover. As mentioned elsewhere, the case is plastic and has no vents, so I wouldn't use it with a mechanical drive as it will definitely overheat under enough load. Works great with SSD. maximizes Sata throughput.

    The cable does not support the maximum speed

    A typical case of fraudulent advertising. There's no information about the included USB-C cable on Revain's website, UGreen, or in the box. However, this is NOT a USB-C Gen 2 cable, this is the only way to achieve the listed 10GHz data rate. I am disappointed in UGreen! I've asked questions twice on the Revain website to clarify the cable specs. I also asked a tech support question directly on the UGreen website but didn't get an answer.     Overall great. But not as beautiful as the previous model

    The owner of our company bought uGreen and after using it I was very satisfied; enough to make me decide to buy one. But when I went online, Revain notified me of a newer model. "New is always better, right?" Not necessarily. The build quality of the older one seems better and drive installation seems easier. The new building also has a strange shape.     It works well, but everything is made of plastic, no possibility of cooling is visible.

    Body and all inner supports are completely made of plastic. No visible heat sink or other cooling. I installed a 9.5mm SSD to transfer data between computers (like Snickernet). I'm not sure how well this device will cool the installed drive if it's in constant use, such as for continuous backups. It's nice that it comes with a 20-inch USB-C to USB-C cable. The transmission speed seems to be good. I'm getting the maximum speed I can expect from a Corsair SATA III SSD, over 5Gbps.

    I was running out of expansion slots on my laptop (already filled with m2 and 2.5 SSDs) and needed an external storage device. I didn't want to invest too much in external drives so I decided to use the original 2.5" hard drive I had. Works perfectly.     I was looking for an SSD enclosure which I bought as a second drive for my MacBook Pro. Especially one with USB-C. This case is pretty simple and it was easy to install a drive in it. It delivers speeds close to advertised but slightly slower when using the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test. I'm giving it four stars because I put it in my bag every night (with a second bag and battery) and it's now covered in a few noticeable surface scratches.     Bought to reuse an old spare internal hard drive as a spare external drive. Installing the drive was fairly easy, no tools required. Opening the case is a bit annoying, as moving the two halves relative to each other to open the SATA connector requires quite a bit of force to get enough friction to open the case. causing the plastic case to be bent.
