It works, but there are better options
The case is very difficult to open, you're always afraid of damaging it. So if you need to replace hard drives, remove the cover. As mentioned elsewhere, the case is plastic and has no vents, so I wouldn't use it with a mechanical drive as it will definitely overheat under enough load. Works great with SSD. maximizes Sata throughput.
