I paid the regular price. I bought for a month long trip to Kenya and Tanzania. We won't always be in the hotel and I wanted my own towels. I plan to use the big one for the beach towel, body bath towel etc. and the smaller one for the face and long hair. Works very well and dries very quickly. I live in Florida so it's still muggy here even now. That was a big test for me. I'll try it outside by the pool and see what happens. I would give 5 stars if they reply to the email I sent today asking if they can be washed at least once as they smell like new rubber or a tire. Another strong person can be because they are new. How very little has changed from a few used and hung. However, I will stay anyway due to the price, size and convenience. Africa is the place to be prepared. UPDATE: 5 stars! The company sent a friendly email that my order would arrive. So I emailed this morning asking if I should go as there were no directions. They said to wash without rinsing and not to dry. So I did. Twice. No rubber smell. Could it be the packaging? Anyway I hung them up, it took longer to dry as they were completely soaked. BUT still only in my laundry room for about an hour or two. So, big test. We have them now as absorbents? Yes! I can't tell you how happy I am that I'm taking it with me on the trip. I will be using it in our caravan from now on. Definitely recommend!
