Got this to replace one that I damaged trying to separate the two pieces. The cup and the rod are two separate parts. I had a plan to install them on my bike. There are small screws with strong glue, I didn't heat it and the screws broke off, bad. Once you have this you can see how I installed them (2) on the back of my bike using the revised plan. The whole block is small but very bright at night. I was very happy with the purchase.
