Review on 🔌 Cable Matters USB to Ethernet Adapter: Reliable 10/100 Mbps Network Support – Black Edition by Prentice Fossett

I want to return this but it has expired. This item is difficult to process. I even downloaded the latest driver from their website. Once you install it, it works. HOWEVER, if it is later DISABLED (on Windows), it disappears from the list of network interfaces. Here you have a USB adapter card plugged in and you just want to unplug it, but it's not there. IT WILL NOT SHOW IN DEVICE MANAGER. Right now I don't know what to do to get it back. Can't turn it off and on again. As I understand it, it's junk. I wasted my money. I also bought the gigabit version of this and am assuming that won't work well either. I just had to open the box and put in a different network card. But I thought it would be easier.
