Great ethernet adapter

Well the ethernet on this computer must be down, I prefer a wired connection when possible to get maximum speed so I bought a USB adapter. This is a good quality product, not expensive, easier to add than replacing the adapter in a computer. You can use this on micro laptops without an ethernet adapter. I actually have two. one for all in one and I wear one with Samsung Ativa. It's good to have extra storage space in case your ethernet gets fried. Plug and play and go

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • makes me nervous

Laptops without an Ethernet port

I have a laptop with no Ethernet port to connect to. If the wireless connection is not working, you can connect to the Internet. If the wireless connection is weak, this is the best option if you have an ethernet port to connect to.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons

Simple and works best in networking products

When my laptop I was using as a server died I wanted the laptop I would be using now to be wired to my router. Only. This laptop could only connect over a wireless network. So I bought this cheap thing. I certainly thought I was going to spend hours installing it and it wouldn't connect and so on. I was very surprised that it installed when I plugged it into the USB port. Then I plugged in the cable. And that's all I had to do. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No automatic

Perfect little USB 2.0 connection for 10/100 Fast Ethernet

Perfect little USB 2.0 connection for 10/100 Fast Ethernet. It just works, what more can I say. First I bought it for PC but then I decided to use it on Mac Mini. The PC interface wasn't capable of higher speeds, but the Mac could, so it was an improvement for it. This also works for the woman's Chromebook, which doesn't have an Ethernet port. I think that's why these things are mostly produced. Just understand that it works. Just make sure and check your specs on your computer to make sure it…

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Available in black only

I am not giving a 5 star rating for the product itself, I am giving the company/seller a 5 star rating. The product didn't work for the reason I bought it, which was the Nintendo Switch. I repeat, this product DOES NOT WORK for Nintendo Switch, but it works for everything else I've tried. So overall it's a good product, but it just didn't work for the reason I bought it. However, the seller was great and gave no problems with returning the money spent on the product. Again, the product works…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

It's awesome.

This is fantastic. They have a mini CDROM holder that slides out of a chip on the device that you slide the drivers into. Works 100% of the time on every machine I've tried. NO ONE does that anymore. I have a mountain of these little driverless USB adapters. If the machine has no network connection, I know this always works.

Pros
  • Many will do it
Cons
  • Unreliable

*UPDATE* Unstable connection!

*UPDATE* Your customer service is GREAT! They contacted me immediately after my review and sent a replacement which works GREAT! No more trouble! Thank you again and I will definitely recommend this company and this product! The product is really easy to use because you literally just plug it in, but unfortunately it doesn't give me a stable internet connection. I work from home so having a fixed internet connection is important and I miss so much work time because the internet is down even…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Neutral

I've used about 60-70 of these devices so far, mostly with Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga and Microsoft Surface Pro devices, and they've worked like clockwork every time. When used with Windows 7, 8, and 10, it was truly plug-and-play, with driver detection and installation taking seconds (you don't have to wait for a Windows update to do the trick, and you don't have to check obscure websites search obscure drivers if Windows Update does not find any suitable drivers). The speeds appear to be the same…

Pros
  • Useful beyond intended purpose
Cons
  • Weak

Does not work as a regular network adapter

I want to return this but it has expired. This item is difficult to process. I even downloaded the latest driver from their website. Once you install it, it works. HOWEVER, if it is later DISABLED (on Windows), it disappears from the list of network interfaces. Here you have a USB adapter card plugged in and you just want to unplug it, but it's not there. IT WILL NOT SHOW IN DEVICE MANAGER. Right now I don't know what to do to get it back. Can't turn it off and on again. As I understand it…
