I live in a family of only 2 adults. Between our tablet, desktop and smartphones, our MacBook may be used several times a week, not even every day! To my surprise last night, while sitting on the floor in our living room near our coffee table, I saw a chip on the side of the case! I got upset and asked my husband if he hit or dropped our MacBook (neither he nor I). I don't know where the chip is from. Then, when I looked more closely, I saw that there were cracks all over the hull! I feel like my stickers are the only thing holding it together at the moment. Now I am disappointed with this purchase. I don't know what causes breakage/cracks. My only guess is the plastic it's made of if it's very cheap or stored somewhere which made it extremely brittle in inventory. The only reason I bought this case is that I could put a bomb on my MacBook and now I have to start over. upset.
