Doesn't work for toilet accessory

Unfortunately, although the pestle looks good in my bathroom, it's not very functional. The rubber is too stiff and won't flex back when I tried to use it. I had to move it to get the rubber back to its original position. The only way I've found to make it semi-functional is that I have to do gentle mini taps to keep the plunger from getting stuck in place, defeating the purpose of trying to shut the toilet clean, destroy. I do not recommend.
