Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Rotary Circle Cutter by OLFA by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Can only recommend it to the most cautious people.

It's not often that I have enough time to write a review, but after using his tool for a total of five minutes, this is exactly the case. Simply put, a "safeโ€ cutter design is just plain dangerous. In the attached picture you can see two thumb grips above the cutting head that need to be squeezed to reduce safety. If you fail to get a good grip on those JUUUSTs, guess where your thumb and forefinger will end up when they inevitably slip off them? If you said "straight into the blade, you idiot," then you're absolutely right. I know this because I now have two sores 1" long and 8" deep in my now bleeding fingers. I spared you all the blood splatter on my cutting mat in the photo but believe me it was ugly. Paper, what is it - maybe it will cut a nice circle. I'll never know to what extent, because I'll never go near that ominous yellow car again. To be honest, I'd rather fiddle with a chainsaw or an unbalanced table saw before even looking in the direction of this sharp-faced demon. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to seal my wounds with super glue.
