PRACTICE PRACTICE = HAPPY

I've watched several videos and my first attempts have not been successful. After a few sheets of carbon paper, I gained confidence. I practiced on the materials at hand to check how much pressure I needed and HOW to center properly. Measure to the center on each side, slightly insert the needle and measure from the top to the bottom, aligning with the center. I'm printing on fabric, so I put extra pressure when inserting the needle. This helps if you have to go around more than once. TIPS: The

This product suits me. I use heavy duty card stock and have cut 100 circles with it so far and I think I need to change the blade before I make the next 100. Can only recommend it to the most cautious people.

It's not often that I have enough time to write a review, but after using his tool for a total of five minutes, this is exactly the case. Simply put, a "safe” cutter design is just plain dangerous. In the attached picture you can see two thumb grips above the cutting head that need to be squeezed to reduce safety. If you fail to get a good grip on those JUUUSTs, guess where your thumb and forefinger will end up when they inevitably slip off them? If you said "straight into the blade, you…

Takes practice

I bought an Olfa rotary cutter, a set of 2 extra blades and a 6x8 green mat. Bought to cut out valentines printed on matte photo paper. Here is my review. This cutter works very well after you have a little practice. When I first got it, I was very upset and wanted to throw it away. The circles just didn't come out with smooth edges. All the edges were jagged, and I tore the center of the circle with a swiveling needle. I decided to calm down and show some patience. Here's how I did it: 1. Put…
