THIS BOX IS NOT SECURE!

I bought the 42" version of this drawer mainly because of the price and the divider that came with it, but also because I was assured in the product description that it had 'rounded out' corners has". In other words, because I thought it would be safe for my lab pup to grow them. Apparently "corners" just means corners. The ends of the wires of the box are not rounded. Recently my puppy cut his nose in a cage. After carefully examining the box, I understood why. The hinges on two doors are made by folding the horizontal wire of the door over the vertical wire in the drawer door. The ends of these horizontal wires were not rounded or sawn off, and these sharp ends are inside the box and can easily cut a dog's nose or paw, especially at the end of the box where the wires have only been bent 180 degrees. Degree. Also, the collared dog could get caught on one of those wires and choke (yes, I know, I know - the instructions say not to put a collared dog in a cage. But how many people read or hear this?? ) I think you get what you pay for, but Revain really should stop selling this crate until the problem is fixed (or CLEARLY state in the product description that there are sharp edges inside the crate. In the meantime, I'm off to the pet store to find a SAFE box, not sure if it's worth returning the ones I have.
