If you have young children, glitter can be a problem.

I used ribbons for my Christmas tree. It was so easy to make a tree crown and then wrap it around my tree. It was so quick and easy to decorate my Christmas tree last year and took 15 minutes to tear down and put away. I didn't use any other decorations, just bows. I will do it again next year. Only thing was a little glitter on the bottom but overall very pleased.
