My others (3 similar) can stand alone with the included lid/stand. It doesn't offer that, so I'm not sure how to store it. It is more powerful than my other 5300 and 5500pa even at low speed and MUCH more powerful at high speed. but I only use them to carry small things around the house like balls of dust, crumbs back and forth and the like. I don't think I can pull out much sand by putting this in my car as my 12 amp rack won't even pull it all the way out. It has a significantly larger dust container for removing dirt, a filter is installed and an additional one. By the time I fill the trash can, the battery is completely dead. The air outlet doesn't blow away clumps of dust before they get into the vacuum, so there are no design flaws. The mud shell snaps into place and pops out instead of cycling on and off. This includes a charging cable that plugs into a standard power outlet. This is NOT USB. I found that the only way to store it was to keep it high up and out of the way. It shouldn't get in the way as the handle hangs a few inches above the shelf. If you place the flat part next to the vents on the edge of the shelf, the handle will tilt and dangle, and it will stay in that position and not fall. Not the best, but better than nothing. I'd rather put it upright on the floor or even hang it somewhere. Heck, I would even appreciate the stand. The trash can is full and I can't take out the cup to empty it. How am I supposed to feel about it? It's not user friendly and I don't have to keep coming back to this list to get my bearings. I'm sending this to Goodwill. I feel sorry for the person it ended up with.
