The set worked wonders on a leather sofa with soft cushions that had 5 tears because the little kids' fingers helped with the tear. As the leather has a worn appearance it has worked great, it's hard to see the repair. They promise to increase the amount of cloth backing, but since I had large tears I had to find some kind of cloth backing to use because the 4x4 inch strips of cloth were too small. You can use almost any fabric that is strong enough. thin fabric as a base. After the repair, make sure you soak everything with leather conditioner. 05/30/19: Update: I have contacted the company and asked where I can get more glue as there are still a few minor repairs to be done and all paint and other supplies are still available. They responded immediately and were kind enough to send me more glue! It was amazing! Thanks again for your product and service!
