Great product for the price. I was really nervous because it was a giant ring light and tripod for less than $30 but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and I'm so happy. I think it can stretch to about 6 feet or shrink to a foot or less and it's really stable. You can also adjust it to any intermediate height. The light is perfect. You can set different lighting temperatures and adjust the brightness as needed. One negative (and not even big enough to give four stars): after about 20 minutes the wall adapter gets too hot, shuts down and needs time to cool down, so just turn it off between photo bursts and you should be fine .
