I have seen several universal chargers that can charge 9v but be aware that these chargers (including some Energizer models) take up to 10 hours to charge . This device charges a fully discharged 9V in less than 3 hours. Very simple operation, plug in. A red light is charging, a green light means charging is complete, no light (if you have a battery in the slot) means the device is off. The device will turn off automatically a few hours after detecting the battery is fully charged to prevent overcharging. For $15, it works and is easy to manage without fear of overcharging.
