They say it rattles. You must use a spark arrestor. I tore off the screen and just used the ring. This will hold the core firmly in place so it doesn't rattle. This core cut the sound of my Renegade 500 in half. It raises the pitch a bit but stays low and mean. I hear my thoughts again
