Very impressed with the digital quality and very fast copying speed. Brilliant!

I've had it for about a week and have already scanned over 1800 photos. The quality of the scans is much better than I expected after reading reviews of "similar" types of these scanners. And I'm pretty picky. Certainly not as perfect as a tablet, but given the amount I've made it's easily 20x faster (start to finish) and still delivers excellent quality. I love that I don't have to connect it to my computer and can just scan photos from my couch while watching a movie or TV show straight to an SD card (I bought a 16GB card and got 1800 photos lasted about 1.5 seconds). GB). I have about 800 photos left, but overall I'm very impressed. There are 2 minor functions. less than 1 minute so take your time). If this is not done I have streaks in about 60 frames and sometimes a thin line in the frames. To be fair the documentation says it should be cleaned after 50. I've done the last 1400 like this and with a few rare exceptions the photos are perfect. 2) If you have night shots with a black border or day shots with black border shadows, it will get confused and the black borders will be cut off. without thinking that it is not part of the scanned image. Only a few of the 1800 images affected and processed with no problem on my flatbed scanner (or used a white paper backing for a photo which worked for me). Oh, and while they recommend using the plastic sleeves that come with them, I did NOT because I noticed they also softened the color a bit (noticeably). I've done all 1800 direct feed scans and the color quality is very good/excellent. I set the resolution to 600 dpi (default) and am very happy with the results. I now have at least 25 years of memories that are now digitized and ready to be viewed on my mother's digital picture frame, and I also have them as screensavers in my media center.
