This is a fairly large water bottle, and the straw is very convenient for both adults and children to use. (It's a bit heavy for a kid to carry around or in a backpack, but a sip around the house works well here and there.) We like the first style in red with navy lettering. It's very unisex for all family members and I love the obvious branding which gives it a premium and sporty look. The steel is thick, strong and durable. Feels and performs like a YETI water bottle, but at a lower price point than the YETI Rambler and easier to drink from a stash. We had no problems with spilling. open. So it's not a button that can be opened, which I like as there is no squirting at all when you open this straw. The straw popped out every now and then when we first got it (which was annoying because you either had to just tip to take a sip or open the lid and put the straw back in the cap). But after a few washes and uses, we're honestly finding that this doesn't happen anymore, so it might just be an accident or user error for the first few uses. All in all I would recommend this.
