Review on USB Mini Digital Voice Recorder: Dual USB Dictaphone for Lectures, Meetings & More by Ruben Jamrock

I was recently hired to record meetings where interpreters provided language translation. But no devices to use. I'm not that tech savvy so I was very worried. I had no idea what format is needed to upload audio recordings to the server. In any case, each setup required a device or two and then an application to convert audio from one format to another, yeaaa. I'm glad I found this little recorder. Very user friendly, and while the recording volume is a little lower than I was hoping for, I like how easy it is to use. Records sound in MP3 format which is what I need. Easy to carry. I was hoping for an owner's manual and was surprised it wasn't included. Fortunately, this is not a very multi-level element. Also, the buttons, which unfortunately are all plastic, are a little hard to reach, so I need a button to turn something on or off. I also want the indicator buttons that show whether a device is on or off, or whether the device is actively recording, to face up when connected to my PC's USB drive. If I'm in a hurry, I have to double-check to see if I forgot to turn off the dictaphone, and to do that I have to turn the computer around a bit to see what's underneath. But overall I'm very glad I found it. No battery life rating as I just bought it.
