Very functional and well thought out top package. Meets my space problem. Fairly water resistant, although I still cover my stuff with plastic when I can. It can get quite hot in the tropics where I live, so there is a restriction on use with electronic and other heat-sensitive luggage. The straps are strong, easy to use and well suited for this purpose. My car has roof rails and I think this product is designed for roof rails or some kind of spikes. I had a problem, although it didn't cause any problems even after several months of operation. The zippers are surprisingly thin. Since this became clear to me immediately upon receipt, I handle it with great care. However, I don't expect them to be lost in service - unless they're damaged. I particularly appreciate the soft yet durable underside, which in my case lies directly on the roof. It prevents the paint from rubbing off and slows down slipping.
