Best is usually a good price. Large professional stone. Not suitable for hard carbon steel.
I thought the Bester 1200 would be comparable to the Bester 1000 but it isn't. The 1200 cuts much slower and warps easily. Not suitable for hard carbon steel knives. Might work for chisels. If you find a great 1000 Bester, buy it.
